Project Advisory Committee (PAC)

The Project Advisory Committee (PAC) was developed during the Bayfront Parkway Study and will be continually engaged during the design process to provide input on the development of the Bayfront Parkway Improvements. The committee members represent a variety of interests and concerns that were identified during the Study, including the following:

  • Neighborhood and City Access
  • Economic Development
  • Alternate Transportation Modes
  • Public Facilities
  • Transportation Planning and Programming
  • Emergency Services
  • Bayfront Development

The PAC will help oversee the direction of the Bayfront Parkway Improvements as they develop.

PAC Meeting #8

Date: October 10, 2018
Location: Erie-Western PA Port Authority
Purpose: The purpose of this meeting was to provide the PAC members with an update on project status, present several conceptual design alternatives, and discuss the public involvement strategy.

  • PAC Member Updates – Status of Private Developments
  • Project’s Purpose and Needs
  • Ancillary Projects
  • Railroad Coordination Update
  • Conceptual Design Alternatives for Central Corridor
  • Public Involvement Strategy

PAC Meeting #7

Date: March 15, 2018
Location: Erie-Western PA Port Authority
Purpose: The purpose of this meeting was to re-engage the PAC members with the project, share results of the study, discuss conceptual design alternatives, and discuss improvement priorities for the Bayfront Parkway Corridor.
